These terms apply to your use of joatconstructionremodel.com (the "Site"), operated by J.O.A.T Construction and Remodels ("we," "us," or "JOAT Construction"), a licensed general contractor in Brigham City, Utah (Utah General Contractor License #11402027-5501). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site is for

The Site describes our services, shows examples of our work, and gives you ways to contact us. It is an information and contact tool. It does not create a contract for construction work.

Quotes and agreements

• Nothing on the Site is a quote. Every project is priced after Nephi Barlow sees the space in person, and the price is set out in a written quote.
• Work begins only under a signed service agreement, which you receive to review before work starts. If anything on the Site conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement controls.
• Our workmanship guarantee covers the labor we perform for one year from completion. It does not cover materials, fixtures, or appliances, which carry their manufacturers' warranties. The signed agreement states the exact terms.

Cost guides and other content

Cost guides, blog posts, and FAQs are general information based on our experience in Northern Utah. They are not a quote, a promise of price, or professional advice about your specific home. Prices, codes, and materials change. Talk to us before relying on anything here for a decision.

Contacting us through the Site

When you submit the contact form or call or text a number on the Site, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry by phone, text, and email, as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree to give us accurate information and to contact us only about genuine inquiries.

Your use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, or republish the Site's photos or text without written permission.
• Submit false inquiries, spam, or automated form submissions.
• Try to interfere with the Site, its hosting, or the services behind it.
• Use the Site for anything unlawful.

Photos and content

The photos on the Site are of our own work unless stated otherwise, and the text, logo, and design belong to J.O.A.T Construction and Remodels or are used with permission. You may share links to the Site freely. Any other use of our content needs our written permission. Customer reviews quoted on the Site are reproduced as written by their authors.

The Site links to and uses services we do not control, including Google, GoHighLevel, Facebook, and Cloudflare. Their terms and privacy practices are their own. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

No warranty for the Site

We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is." We do not promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that information on it is complete or current. This section is about the website only; the work we do in your home is covered by the signed agreement and our workmanship guarantee.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, J.O.A.T Construction and Remodels is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Utah law, and nothing here limits our obligations under a signed service agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute about the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Box Elder County, Utah.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with the date at the top, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it.
