J.O.A.T Construction and Remodels ("we," "us," or "JOAT Construction") is a licensed general contractor based in Brigham City, Utah. This policy explains what information we collect when you use joatconstructionremodel.com (the "Site"), call or text us, or hire us, and what we do with it. We keep it simple because our business is simple: you contact us about a project, and we use what you share to respond and do the work.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form. Name, phone number, email address, city or ZIP code, project type, and anything you type in the message field.
• Calls and texts. Your phone number, the date and time you reached us, and the details of your project that you share in the conversation.
• Project details. Photos, measurements, addresses, and preferences you send us so we can quote and complete the work.
• Agreements and payments. The information needed to write a service agreement and invoice a job. We do not store card numbers on the Site.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit, how they arrived, and roughly where they are located. Google collects this through cookies and similar identifiers. It does not tell us who you are.
• Advertising measurement. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to learn whether our ads led to a call or a form submission. This uses cookies set by Google.
• Call tracking. The phone number shown on the Site may change depending on how you found us. This lets us know which ads or listings are working. When you call one of these numbers, the system records the number you called from, the number you dialed, and the call's start time and length.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to serve and protect the Site.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry, schedule a visit, and prepare a written quote.
• To perform, document, and warrant the work you hire us for.
• To send you appointment reminders and follow-ups about your project.
• To understand how people find and use the Site so we can improve it.
• To comply with licensing, tax, and other legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Calls and text messages

By submitting the contact form, or by calling or texting us, you agree that we may contact you by phone and text message at the number you provided about your inquiry and project. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on your project. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not opt you out of calls or emails about a job already in progress; tell us and we will use another channel.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services we use to run the business:

• GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which powers our contact form, call tracking, texting, and customer records.
• Google (Analytics and Ads), for the measurement described above.
• Cloudflare, which hosts and secures the Site.
• Subcontractors and suppliers who need your address and project details to do their part of a job.
• Professional advisors and authorities when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies from Google Analytics and Google Ads for the purposes above. Our own pages set no tracking cookies of their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site works without them. Google offers an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and project records for as long as reasonably needed to serve you, honor our workmanship guarantee, and meet legal and tax requirements. Analytics data is retained according to Google's default settings.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. We will honor the request unless we need the record to complete a job or meet a legal obligation.
• Opt out of texts by replying STOP.
• Block cookies in your browser as described above.

Children

The Site is for adults arranging home improvement work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Customer records live in the services listed above, which use their own security controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
